We are approaching two years since our company decided to work with MealTracker for our dietary software needs. During that time, I have encountered the BEST customer support of any other vendor or partner I have worked with during my professional career (20 years). I feel like your staff is always accessible to me and my team no matter what issue or need we have. Whether it be training, tech support, data entry, etc I always feel I have received “special” treatment.

As a growing company with new employees constantly joining our team, training is very important to us. There are so many avenues for learning about the software (webinars, written materials, hands-on training, and extensive help library), it is very easy for them to learn in an environment they feel comfortable in even if they have differing levels of computer skills.

Before using MealTracker, I was totally reliant on our food vendor to write our menu and recipes. This limited what we could do to individualize our menus for our various communities. I love having the menu and recipes with the nutritional analysis right at my fingertips so I can really have the opportunity to give each facility the menu choices that their residents want and deserve. Changing and analyzing a day’s menu now takes less than a minute whereas before it took a bottle of white out, lots of cutting and pasting and much more time.

Our dietary managers also love the program due to its ease of use, the many options they have for tray card styles, the way it has helped them transition into fine dining with more menu options, the production sheets it generates and the fact they can put in their own facility specific recipes and have them scaled to exactly meet their needs.

I have so much fun playing with MealTracker and discovering “new to me” features, I often catch myself logging onto it on the weekends to see what else I can make it do. I would recommend MealTracker to anyone looking for an economical, user friendly, all encompassing software program supported by an amazing customer support team!

Our multiple Long Term Care facilities have been working with MealTracker for about three years now. Overall, our facilities have had nothing but positive things to say about the updated version of MealTracker 3.0. A few of the areas that we have noticed that are much easier to use, are in making menu changes, entering resident profiles, and entering resident weights. As a longtime user of MealTracker I am consistently impressed with the continual rapid support that is provided. I have had all of my questions/issues answered immediately, completely, and always correctly. The kind of support we receive from MealTracker is the only way I would choose to operate this kind of system.

Support from DCT is unsurpassed. I have immediate access to tech support. And since we are a large, multiuser facility, the tech support folks have always worked with our Information Tech staff to assess our needs and assist in tweaking our complex network with MealTracker software.

MealTracker is still the most user friendly software in the LTC market. It has been a pleasure to train new staff to use the system in a very timely fashion.

We use all of the reporting features that the system offers. And the speed which we can get the reports is fabulous.

MealTracker does the work of 10 diet techs- and does it well.

The ultimate flexibility that MealTracker offers in programming of menu is amazing. It is logical as well as fast to program any complete menu or updated menu.

I really like the new Meal Tracker version. I think the print quality is so much better and adds to professional look and finish of the reports, tray tickets, etc.... The service assistance is excellent! I would specifically like to recognize two of the gentlemen: Jerry & Tom. They are great. I often ask for them by name and every time I have needed assistance, they have been able to quickly resolve my issue. I have learned so much from them and appreciate their skill and patience.

Over the last twenty-seven (27) years, I have used numerous meal ticket software options but none compare to MealTracker. We choose MealTracker for the service and support that is provided after purchase. It is like no other. We have used the webinars available online for training new managers, help information from the desktop icon, and talking to a live person who will log into your computer to answer questions and assist in finding solutions.

MealTracker 3.0 has enabled my communities to move further in our pursuit to ‘person-centered’ care. We are able to make menu changes quicker by the new downloading of menus built in MealTracker 3.0. It is extraordinarily easy to use MealTracker. It walks you through entering a profile, entering menus, developing therapeutic diets to printing production sheets all of which are needed to maintain an efficient kitchen.

The reporting abilities of MealTracker 3.0 have allowed my facilities to choose from several different formats to print from. We particularly like that you can use the button “SHOW” to preview the reporting form before printing and handing it to surveyors.

Overall, we have been satisfied with our selection of MealTracker as our software for tray tickets, menus, recipes, nutritional tracking, weight tracking and much more.
